Hoy es dia 16/10/2013 y ni dinero, ni respuesta porque no me ha devuelto mi dinero casi 40 dias.Mi pedido se canceló porque era de 11/07/2013 y mas de 2 meses esperandolo. Al final lo cancelado y des de entonces esperando dinero de devolucion pero nada, una respuesta ,error humano y en 48 hora tendra dinero. Ordered a Canon EOS 5d Mark III so far been 9 days waiting & now being told there is a stock issue/delay, was told 3-5 working days, all they do is LIE to you, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, it has a London phone No but they are based in Hong Kong, we warned?
Update: why STILL advertise 3-5 days then when this is clearly NOT TRUE, & you continue to advertise as such.....You re still advertising the same product at the same "lead time", &claim to have it in stock, like I said LIES & I stick by my review.
Just received my Samsung MV900F digital camera. Excited and wanted to charge and use it with my family. However, the charging red light does not appear and it could not be charged. And the camera could not be used.
I bought a spoilt camera. So sad!

J'ai ete tres decue de valuebasket. Jai voulu leur faire confiance et ne pas m'arreter aux mauvaises notes. Mais j'aurai du .1 mois apres ma commande, elle n'avais toujours pas ete expediee . A chaque contact par mail des excuses (stock, retard) toujours une version differente a chaque fois.
Jai demander le remboursement la semaine derniere et jesperais etre remboursee rapidement. Malheureusement ce matin il annouce encore du retard. je me demande si je serai rembourse un jour.

Compré un móvil hace ya 17 días y aun ni si quiera me lo han enviado. Todavía está pendiente de ser procesado. La compra la hice el 27 de Junio. Entro en la cuenta de ValueBasket y el pedido ha pasado ya por 20 estados, yo creo que lo van cambiando cada 3 días para que pienses que avanza pero todos dicen en realidad lo mismo. Llevo ya 3 días en los que el mensaje que me pone es el siguiente:
"Su pedido está experimentando retraso.
Dadas las circunstancias hemos incrementado la prioridad de su pedido sobre el resto y se despachará tan pronto como sea posible. Agradecemos su continuada paciencia."
Me han "regalado" una tarjeta SD de 4 gigas que yo ni quiero. Yo quiero que me manden el móvil. Si hay un plazo de días, que es generoso ya de por si, que lo cumplan, y si no lo pueden cumplir que lo pongan más alto y así no ENGAÑEN.
Les he ofrecido incluso la posibilidad de que me lo envien por mensajería y yo corro con los gastos, pero me comentan que no es posible. ¿Será que en realidad ni tienen el móvil?... Cada vez pienso más eso.
Ah eso si, mi dinero lo tienen ellos desde el primer día. Mi paciencia se está agotando, pediré la devolución.

El dìa 5 de Agosto de 2013 realicè un pedido de telèfono Samsung Galaxy S III Mini I8190 8GB Libre - Smartphone (Azul).
Han pasado ya diez dìas y hasta el momento, cuando entro en mi cuenta para ver el estado del pedido lo que me encuentro es lo siguiente:

Cuando me me dirigido a ellos mediante mail para preguntar que està pasando, la respuesta es la siguiente:

Ordered asus tablet from them when invoice came through delivery time was too long so i cancelled the order. Been waiting over a week and no communication and no refund and no tablet fortunately i paid by paypal so have done a claim through them.

My refund has now been refunded this experience was bad staff were very polite but had lack of information just excuses the item i wanted was only £30 cheaper i would really recommend avoiding this company they very disorganised and had admitted to me the problem was because there call center is in the Phillipines and logistics are in Hong Kong. Dont be fulled by the odd good review CHECK OUT PIE CHART ON RIGHT FOR EVERY POSITIVE THE GET THERES A NEGITIVE it also tells you were they rank against other sites they are bottom.

There is now a problem with refund system, ive been promised in the next couple of days i hope so Its STRANGE how they are able to process payment quickly though.
asked for refund today as i was promised dispatch this week ive called every day still can not get a date of dispatch they acknologed that communication with there logistic team is difficult because there call centre is in Phillipines and Logistics are in Hong Kong which seems silly as im calleing from uk and had no problem getting through.
POSITIVES;- I like to always give a positive if i can to be fair and will say that the customer service team has always been polite and answer fast just shame of the lack of information.
this international company will keep giving excuses of back log high demand although there customer service agents confirms in stock, I checked there website recently and there is no mention of any delays and still states dispatch with in 5 working days so clearly they are still taking orders VALUE BASKET as you have said you have backlog don't you think you should stop taking orders intill you fulfill current orders at least tell people on your website it will be OVER A MONTH BEFORE DISPATCH.
Ive also note alot of adverts on websites for you maby should ssave money there and stop posting them as you can not fulfill orders

Ce site est tentant! Très bon prix sur certains produits, mais pas tous: certains produits comme le Sony SAL 1650 est beaucoup plus cher qu'ailleurs (Amazon par ex.).Un grand choix de produit. J'a commandé un objectif Tokina 1123 monture Sony très bon marché le 26 juin 2013. De guerre lasse, ne voyant rien venir (le colis était toujours en "préparation" le 31 juillet.... j'ai demandé le remboursement, depuis (on est le 12 août) toujours rien! Désespérant. J'ai pourtant déjà commandé chez leur concurrent Purmina Digital moins bien achalandé mais plus sérieux sans aucun problème.

Lo peor es qu era para un cumpleaños el día 11 y a ver que cara pongo yo después de gastarme mas de 200 € y no tener nada para la cumpleañera.

Emailed and contacted them, I should have gone to my instinct and cancel the order and get my refund back within the first two weeks from the order date. Gutted to have wasted that long when they say it will be shipped soon in few days time, again and again but nothing has been delivered.
Don't waste your monies on them cos they're cheap, it's easier for them to take monies out from your bank on the day of purchase but sure can take bloody ages to give it back to you!!! I rather spend it in retail stores such as supermarkets, Currys, Argos and online such as Amazon or Ebay.

Please read my original review below first. After that I was getting nowwhere with the customer service people, I rang and kept getting the same bull "it should be with you by the end of the week or next week" I mean how vague can you get? I eventually cancelled the order on 13th Aug 2013 but nearly as expected I got stiffed at the refund stage too. I was left waiting with the same excuses over and over until finally I got my money back on 03 Sep 2013. Thats 44 days that they my money for.
I cant help but think that there is something very fishy like money laundering going on with this company. Why are they holding on to thousands of peoples money without giving them their paid for goods????
Nearly all the reviews on here are bad, very bad, one star reviews. So why so many 5 star reviews, and usually only one or two sentances long with bad english, that is nearly a sure sign to me that they are all fake. Valuebasket must be paying some indian guys to write good reviews for them on this site to counteract all the bad 'BUT TRUE' ones on here.

I ordered a Sony Xperia Z + a Sony Tablet Z on the 21 Jul 13, its now the 8th of Aug 13 and my order status hasn't changed except for some rewording. They have added a 4gb memory card to my order for free, for the inconvenience, although a step in the right direction it just means nothing at this stage. It order status now reads....

Well I am losing the plot with my continued patience. The thing in my case is that this is my third order with valuebasket, the first order was a 50mm Nikon lens and that arrived within the ten days of ordering (I think, but I cant be sure) so I was happy enough with the service. My secound order was another Nikon lens 70-300mm but this took over about a month to reach me. I thought that maybe it was just a once off but I was wrong. This is actual company policy. They intentionally lie to their customers knowing quite well that deliveries will be weeks and If you ask for a refund .... be preparred to wait another few weeks. All the while earning interest and being used to make more money before it is given back to you.
Here is the truth about value basket. You order from the website, they take your money and put it in the bank, then they order your gear from china and get it shipped over to them on the cheapest snail service courier possible. They re-package your goods and then send them out to you. So as long as all that takes, that is what your getting for your few quid cheaper when buying from valuebasket.com.
The stuff on their website is utter lies about so many items in stock, NO, they dont, maybe, just maybe the place in China does but i dought that too considering how long the average delivery time takes. So when value basket say's on their website ships in 3-5 working days, ha ha! What a joke! Utter lies as I say. I have cornered the customer service rep on the phone and get the whole O! we are having problems with high volume orders, and when confronted with... So why is your website still displaying that there are 10 items in stock.... O! we are having technical difficulties with our website too. Ha! Ha! what rubbish....

Otro cliente insatisfecho: el 20 de julio de 2013 compré un Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 por 400€ en ValueBasket. Mi pedido ha seguido los pasos que han comentado todos los que han puesto comentarios negativos sobre la tienda. Ayer, 7 de agosto de 2013, viendo que el pedido seguía experimentando retrasos, decidí cancelarlo para que me reembolsen el dinero.Si no se hace en un tiempo razonable, tendré que denunciarlo a VISA para que me devuelvan el dinero.
Consejo: Si has comprado algo en esta tienda y ves que el estado de tu pedido sigue los pasos que comentamos los clientes insatisfechos, cuanto antes canceles el pedido antes recuperarás el dinero.
Ya me han reembolsado el dinero en la tarjeta. De todas formas creo que para no estropear el comercio electrónico y para que no surjan nuevos "valuebasquets" en la red no se debería comprar nada en tiendas como estas.Para vender por Internet hay que ser extremadamente serio y esta tienda no lo es.
Por otro lado, agradecer a TrustPilot por proporcionar un foro donde compartir experiencias de otras personas en sus compras on-line. Vendré a consultar cuando tenga que comprar en una tienda desconocida.

A finales de junio compre una cámara Lumix TZ40. Por un error se duplico el pedido.
Dos días después al leer en los foros los problemas que había con esta empresa, cancelé los dos pedidos. Un mes y medio después de muchos correos por mi parte y casi siempre respuestas automáticas por parte de Value Basket, he conseguido que me devuelvan el importe de ambas compras.
No tengo la sensación de que sean unos estafadores, pero el servicio es tan pésimo y miserable que uno se siente impotente y estafado. Yo he conseguido de nuevo mi dinero, pero tengo claro que jamás volveré a comprar nada con ellos.

Placed order through valuebasket.co.nz for ipod touch 4th generation. Wondered how they had stock of a product no longer produced so cheaply. Nothing came after 5 days and nearly one month later 4 toll calls at my expense to be told each week there is a backlog will get sent later this week or early next week. Utter rubbish , they have not got product, and it is clearly not in stock and they're trying to source for cheaper than you pay. I have no doubt it will arrive at some stage, but it will be a month next week and still not sent and they cannot give me a date.
Don't bother waiting for email when they say they will contact distribution centre, you won't get one. Don't bother asking to speak to a manager, they will give you a time to call , they don't call you and when you ring Debbie is training for the week. And expect to be told they are having IT problems with website and stock levels are not right. Funny how they can manage to go in and change them up !
Would have no problem if they did not change your card until they actually shipped the goods in stock! And that they advertised there is a wait, of one month at least. Might make them improve there service.

This could be at least a month, more likely 2 given the item you ordered is no longer produced.

I ordered a Samsung Galaxy Y on 30 June, it is now 6 August. I keep ringing to ask where my phone is. Every time the answer is that there is a backlog of orders but they promise that mine is a priority and will be dispatched later in the week. It never is. And so it has gone on for weeks. I have now cancelled my order and asked for a refund. it is a bit of a worry to read that others have never received their refunds. Oh well, if I don't receive my refund quickly, I shall just have to keep posting these reviews to ensure that others don't get sucked in.

Buenos días, el 2 de Julio de 2013, realizé un pedido a valuebasket, no contento con dicho pedido, solicité la cancelación del mismo en repetidas ocasiones sin recibir ningún tipo de comunicación ni respuesta por su parte. Recibí el pedido el día 15 de Julio de 2013. Solicité la devolución dentro de los 14 días, y despues de mucho intentarlo, recibí un numero RMA, pero sin explicación alguna sobre la manera de proceder a la devolución (ni dirección de devolución, ni compañía de transportes, ni nada de nada).
Intenté por todos los medios contactar con ellos, pero de nuevo no obtuve respuesta. Mi plazo de devolución de 14 dias terminó y ahora me encuentro con un producto que no quiero, pero que me tengo que quedar con el, pues valuebasket hizo caso omiso a mis rogatorias.
Nunca recibí respuesta a mis mensajes solicitando la cancelación del pedido y su posterior devolución, pero si recibo correos con ofertas y promociones de descuento para nuevos pedidos...
valuebasket es para mi un fraude de pagina, que camela a la gente con devoluciión garantizada y 36 meses de garantía de sus productos, y con cancelación de pedido, pero una vez realizado dicho pedido y cobrado por su parte, no dan la cara e ignoran a sus clientes, pues lo que quieren son ventas, no devoluciones. En mi caso, la cancelación del pedido (camara fotografica NIKON D5200) era para cambiarlo por una Nikon D7000, pues me parecía más adecuada para el uso que quería darle, pero me tendré que quedar con la D5200, que está embalada en su caja original, y que no consigo ni vender, porque la gente no se fia de valuebasket a la hora de una posible avería, pues como digo, se desentienden de sus clientes.
Para mi ha sido una PESIMA EXPERIENCIA, y así lo quiero dejar reflejado en este mensaje.

After almost 3 weeks of waiting for dispatching ordered camera I have asked (a week ago) how long it was going to take. The answer was: "Despite the delay, I am pleased to inform you that we expect your order to be shipped late this week or early next week via expedited delivery service.".
It is Monday already and order status, for 4 days already, is still ALLOCATED (Stock has been allocated and will ship within 1-2 days time).
I am tired of this ridicule company. If you want something being delivered in reasonable time, BETTER AVOID Valuebasket!

My experience with ValueBasket is below. It is quite long and if you want to skip to the good part, then just jump to 31 July 2013. I will be very interested in whether PR from Valuebasket asddresses this comment and how they put a good spin on
21 June 2013. Order my Sony Xperia E Dual on-line for $176 from valuebasket.com.au. The best price on the web but also what swayed me was the 3yr warranty. Did some checking on the company and found the reviews (on another website) which were negative were really focused on the fact that the product may have taken 2-3 weeks to arrive rather than the quoted 7-10 days which was something I could live with.
24 June 2013. Checked on website for order status and it was 'Being made ready' which sounded fine.
25 June 2013. Still 'Being made ready'.
26 June 2013. Still 'Being made ready'. Checked website for whether phone was in stock. Now no longer in stock and furthermore, price has increased to $199.85. Getting worried.
6 July 2013. Still 'Being made ready'. Sent email to company asking where my order was. Recieved reply the following day not stating why it was delayed but that the order should be fulfilled within the next 7 business days, making it 16 Jul it
should be fulfilled. Wasn't sure whether fulfilled meant they will have put the package together and it leaves their site (in HK) or whether it should be that long before I recieve it at my door so decided to leave it a few extra days just to be sure.
22 July 2013. Still nothing and way past 7 business days. Look on website and now find in the status of order a message asking me to contact them via their website email in regards to additional information they require. I do that and indicate in the message that the communication is the most ridiculous setup. If I hadn't looked at the status on the webpage then how was I to know they needed more info??? They already had my email on file. After sending the response to
them, I figured its probably better just to call them and get it sorted out faster than by email.When I questioned customer service, I was told that they were experiencing a large number of orders and had a backlog they were trying to clear, which sounded exactly like several reviews I had read. I was told that the order would be completed 'late this week or early next week'. When I asked for clarification it was confirmed early next week meant by Tuesday. I asked if I could have a guarantee this would be the case or I would get the item free, she wouldn't give it and when further pushed all I got was a statement that the product would 'certainly' be completed by that date. Note that there was no mention of any additional info they required.
29 July 2013. Checked on website and status was still the same, requesting additional info from me and that I should contact them by email (which I had done 7 days ago). So I ring again and again got the same line about a backlog. I asked
if the backlog means that everyone is delayed in recieving their goods...apparently not, it doesn't work that way but she couldn't explain why. She sent an email to their order section asking why it has been delayed and said I would be informed
why when she recieved a response.
31 July 2013. Status still shows the same. Have not recieved an email explaining delay. Rang up to find out yet again why there is a delay. Put on hold as usual then when she comes back I'm told that they have no phones in stock and they can't

know what they doing by 2nd August then I would get onto on-line review sites and create multiple accounts with multiple computers and make multiple negative reviews over multiple months to absolutely bag them and then I hang up. I then start to write a review of the company off-line but went back to the valuebasket website to check the price they now offer the phone at. Get this, the phone is now offered at $199.85 as I noticed on 26 June BUT there are now 3 in stock.So I now ring up their sales team, speak to a guy there and tell him I wanted a Sony Xperia E Dual black. He says they have 3 in stock for $199.85 each (as indicated by the web page). I asked if he could absolutely confirm that they are in stock and he said
yes. So I asked to be put through to the customer service section and just happened to be put through to the same person I spoke to 10minutes earlier. I ask if the case was that if I pay $199.85, then the phone is in stock but if I pay $176 (as I did) then the phone is out of stock? She put me on hold to check what the deal was (somewhere around 15min) and then came back to say their logistics department would take over the order now and would try to get the order filled this afternoon. They would indicate on their website what the status was and she would email be back that afternoon (she even checked my email address with me).
2 August 2013. You guessed it, no email and no change on order status, 2 days after I was to be notified. Looked on website yesterday and today and now the price is $204.89 with still 3 in stock. So obviously someone has adjusted the price, but have not altered the stock status.
So my take on Valuebasket is obviously extremely bad. I think they are trying to offer too many products to people and they do not keep up their website up to date. i think the way they operate is like this:
They do not stock any items or if they do, then they would only stock the fastest moving items. They source most of the items externally and the in stock numbers indicated on the website are a load of rubbish.
The prices listed on their website are simply an indication of the price they were last able to offer the product at...not necessarily the price you will get the item at. It all depends on whether they can source the item for as cheap as they did previously. If they can't, then it appears they will delay the sale while they try to source the product from other cheap sources. If they aren't successful, then after so many weeks, hopefully the customer will have decided to cancel the order (as is frequently the case based on many of the reviews of the company that I have read). If the customer continues to hang on (like myself), then they will simply say they can't get any stock...what this really means is that they can't get any
stock for the price they originally advertised the product at (and at which you purchased it).
Looking over a number of websites where Valuebasket has been reviewed, I also believe they have been creating false reviews of their company. I find it very interesting that the reviews of their company are very polarised. Either people
rate it at excellent or terrible with very few ratings in the middle. If you have a good company, then generally you would have a lot of good reviews which gradually falls away as you approach the bad ratings. If you have a bad company then the opposite should occur with a lot of terrible reviews and few if any good/excellent reviews. An average company would be expected to have the highest number of average reviews, falling away to few excellent and poor reviews. yet when you look
at Valuebaskets review summaries on the various websites, you usually find a U shaped curve with a lot of terrible and a lot of excellent reviews but few good/average reviews which leads me to think that they are creating their own positive reviews of their website to counteract the authentic negative reviews by real customers.
It has now been over 6 weeks since I first placed this order and still have not recieved any real explanation as to the delay. I will be interested to see what the Valuebasket PR person says to this review!! Will continue to add to this review

This is by far the WORST ON LINE TRADER I have ever dealt with to the point I have cancelled my order. Their web site states 2-5 days to process refunds, their response states 4-8 days. This is absolutely typical of Value Basket, order and money were received and 9 days later it was still being processed, it had not even left their warehouse, almost three weeks later their update was it would be processed next week.
Value Basket cannot be trusted to deliver goods or refunds on time.

Sincere apologies are the mantra of value basket, they fail to deliver and offer apologies. Would it not be so much better if they learned from their mistakes and just package and send items ordered, there are so many online traders that can achieve good relations with their customers but Value Basket are not one of them.
Everyone note how Value Basket do not give out deadlines they continually say things like "I am confident it will be refunded very shortly" what exactly does this mean, VERY SHORTLY? is that today, tomorrow, next week? why is it so hard to be specific, they could have said "Your refund will be processed later today and should be back in your account tomorrow" this is a credit card transaction, if I were in a high street shop it would be refunded immediately.
Got my refund BUT how easy would it have been to just send out the lens and filter and none of this "BAD TASTE" would be left in my mouth. VALUE BASKET REMAINS A TERRIBLE ONLINE TRADER. Low prices are not everything you have to be confident you are going to get what you paid for within the timescales contracted for or at the very least be kept informed, things happen but not knowing is hard to deal with. I really do not think Value Basket will ever learn and predict their constant bad reviews will eventually put them out of business. Amazon, eGlobal and many other online traders can deliver but VALUE BASKET just cannot.

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy S2 for £209.99. 02/ 07 2013.
No phone in stock after 9 days.
Asked for a refund, said unable to refund over the phone need to email first ???
Return email offered to deliver the next week, after reading the reviews about Valuebasket.com, i decided i could not trust them to deliver on time so i asked for a refund.
I got no reply or confirmation so after 4days i rang them on the 19/07 2013, the operator said she could know issue a refund as they had received my email and confirmed a full refund was on its way.
It would take 7 days minimum to process though.???
My money went into there accont in 24 hours so why the delay ?
After 12 days no refund and when contacted they said my refund had not been processed, they would treat this as a priority.
More delaying tactics ?
I informed Valuebasket.com of my displeasure and that this was unacceptable.
I emailed and told, them that as they had an advertising link on ebay; i had contacted ebay and asked for their advice on this matter.
They said ( ebay ) that if i suspected fraud to go to the police and they would assist me in retrieving my refund.
Further to this i told Valuebasket.com that i will be going to the bank for their advice on recovery through my debit / visa card.
Then to the police for their advise as well.
Further to that i informed them that i am reviewing Valuebasket.com on Trust Pilot as well as Facebook and anywhere else i can warn people of their poor service.
As off yet the 01/ 08 2013, No Samsung Galaxy S2 phone , No refund and a sad,sad saga of one whole month of £209.99 of my money gone into Valuebasket.com's account / pocket.
Did i mention, though you would never know from the advertising link through ebay; that this is a Hong Kong based company.
I will keep updating this post and let you know the steps needed if no refund arrives.
Received my refund 24 hrs after posting this review and making a fuss.
Their reply although apologetic does not exscuse them delaying my refund for over two weeks and taking money from me when they had nothing in stock to send me in the first place.
I rang them after 9 days and no stock and a promise of one in a week.
When i asked for a refund they refused over the phone and said i had to email them first and when i did so they then delayed a further 2 weeks.
They should have rang or emailed me after 7 days to say they had no stock and offered me a full refund there and then. The whole process should have been resolved in 9 days no longer, not 31 days.
I believe having to really pressure them is the only reason i have a refund and TrustPilot has helped in this .

Compré un teléfono Sansung Galaxy S2 Plus y antes de que fuera enviado según la información que en la propia página ofrecen del estado del producto, comuniqué mi decisión de anular el pedido porque me habían regalado este mismo teléfrono móvil . De inmediato me comunicaron que lo sentian y que procederían a hacer el reembolso, cosa que han cumplido puntualmente así que no me queda mas que concederle la máxima puntuación.
Yo compré el 2 de julio un Samsung Galaxy Note II LTE con esta empresa por 430€. En aquel momento, me ahorraba unos 30 euros con respecto a la competencia.
Después de muchas idas y venidas, el móvil llegó el 16 de agosto (casi mes y medio después), con una bonita factura de 43 euros que tenía que pagar en concepto de aduanas. Les he pedido la devolución de los 43 euros a Valuebasket hace una semana pero, como con todo lo demás, parece que no tienen ninguna prisa.
Si ya habéis comprado con ellos, paciencia que acabará llegando.
Si no, NO COMPREIS CON ELLOS NI DE BROMA. Para cuando os llegue el cacharro se habrá devaluado tanto que no habrá merecido la pena, posiblemente os toque pagar aduanas, y os ahorrareis muchos días de quebraderos de cabeza.
