I am still waiting for delivery of a table which I ordered three weeks ago and was told should arrive in 5 to 7 days. It is easy to get through to the company on the phone and the people I have spoken to have been polite and helpful. However, they are waiting for delivery of this item from the suppliers but don't seem to be able to find out just when they will receive it into their warehouse. Apparently one arrived with damaged packaging and was returned. Since then I have phoned four times and each time they have given me a date on which they expect it to arrive. So far it has failed to arrive on the first three of those dates, despite the supplier apparently confirming at 5pm one day that it would be sent the following day. I am now waiting to see if it arrives on the fourth date they have given me otherwise I will cancel the order as I have stopped believing these estimates. The supplier waits until they have a full vanload before sending the van to First Furniture, so it seems I am waiting in the hope that other customers will also order the same company's goods. If not, then I conclude that in theory I could be waiting indefinitely. What I haven't asked yet is whether FF also wait until they have a vanload before delivering to my area . . . In summary, it is extremely frustrating being unable to get reliable information about this order.
Great customer service and communication. Table is exactly what we wanted and exactly as described. At a great price. Delivery arranged and was spot on. Thanks for a smooth purchase experience.
We ordered the bed frame because the one we had bought from Dreams fell to pieces after a couple of months. The bed frame is solid and easy to put together - really pleased. The bed was delivered on the day promised and they carried it up stairs for me. I will use again.
Bed ordered was out of stock but we were informed immediately by telephone and given the option of a refund or waiting for new stock. We only waited a week and the bed was delivered without any problem.
Ordered & Paid for a bedroom chair. Came in reasonable time. Opened it up to find it looks nothing like the image, and it is damaged. I reported it to First Furniture on 23 October, they asked me to send photos, I did. I heard nothing back.. I had to chase them up to find out what was happening.. I emailed them and eventually got a reply saying a replacement chair would be in stock and despatched wk com 18 Nov. Guess what, no call, no stool, no contact. I have again had to chase up what's happening. All I got was that it was a supplier problem... I am not happy. First Furniture had my money and after waiting a month for a resolution, I still don't know when I will get what I ordered. Not good enough.........
They offered the lowest price and matched this with a first class follow up process involving a telephone call to discuss a suitable delivery date. The units arrived as agreed and we were very pleased with the quality. Would highly recommend this supplier.
I will not be using this site again as although the seats I bought were of good quality the fact that they were not in stock when the took my money and could not be delivered on time and I was not told I find unacceptable. Then they were sent out for delivery on a date that I had informed them that I would not be at home.
Staff were very helpful. Website clear and easy to use. Staff were clear about pricing structure and reassured me about returns policy and deducting VAT as delivered to jersey. Really good service . would use again.
the ordering was straight forward and the service was excellent, the delivery of the item was as stated and the parcel was well wrapped and no damage occured.

Really happy with the wardrobe and the speed of delivery. Not so happy with the delivery company who urged me to write 'unhecked' on the package in contradiction of the advice from First Furniture.
No Issues with placing the order, and a clear indication the product was not in stock, and on back order. The ability to check the order via the web was fine, but no update on eta. Money has been deducted, but I have no idication of the eta for the delivery.
Ally from First Furniture was great, always in contact while we were deciding on the exact make up of our bedroom suite. He made us a great offer and we have not regretted accepting it, quality furniture delivered really quickly.
Would highly recommend and use again!
Very easy to purchase online with email notifications regarding shipment and delivery of the product. On receipt of the product, easy to assemble with instructions. Worth the purchase, a very happy customer.
Very disappointig as they advertised a particular bed on their website. After paying for the bed in full (almost £950) they emailed me to say the bed wasn't available. They were also very slow to refund my money and I had to chase them by phone and also by email to get my money back. Interestingly the bed that I ordered STILL appears on their website. So if you are intending to purchase a bed from First Furniture it would be worth checking that the bed you want is actually available before paying them any money!
I ordered over the phone which I found quick and simple and was given all the info I needed at the time. As I was told, I got a phone call to tell me the delivery date a few days later and it arrived on time.
I am delighted with my purchase from First Furniture.....the chair is really good quality and extremely easy to use.
Delivery was on the day I asked for....which I find amazing, given that many firms often delay delivery to when it suits them rather than what suits you!!
The delivery driver was very friendly, helpful and courteous.

I ordered 4 dining chairs from this company and when I unpacked them one of the chair seats was damaged I emailed them straight away and their response was very quick . I recieved a replacement seat within days at no extra cost and no p&p charges, I would highly recommend this company for there fast friendly and helpfull service even the courier who delivered the chairs was a friendly helpful guy who insisted on carrying the boxs to the room of my choice, you couldn't ask for anything better. :))))
This beautiful furniture was delivered on time and unlike some other companies the packaging around it was very extensive which meant that there was no damage whatsoever to the contents.
The parcels turned up in really poor condition and all the fitting screws were loose inside! One screw was missing! The quality of the fabric on the stools was poor to put it mildly!
I ordered an Iowa Birlea Brown Leather Recliner Swivel chair and stool on 16/10/13 for my husbands birthday on 23/10. I emailed on 21/10 to check if everything was ok. Within 2 minutes First Furniture called me back to confirm that it was due to be despatched the next day and I would get a text letting me know a 4 hour window of when it would be delivered. Text received as promised, delivery as promised within the 4 hour window given. Delivery guys were brilliant, helped me unpack and check everything was ok. Probably one of the best internet purchase experiences for me. I read the reviews first and was a little worried about some of the negative reviews - but no need, as service and delivery was brilliant. Many thanks, my husband loves his new chair!
We bought some conservatory furniture. The staff were all friendly and took trouble to make sure that the order was right. It was delivered promptly and in good condition. It was very well packaged. One slight reservation about company policy (not worth losing a star for!) The furniture took a long time to unwrap, so that we could not examine it in the presence of the delivery drivers. We were sorry therefore that we were instructed had to sign for it as 'damaged' rather than 'unexamined' - the delivery people were a little concerned as this was going to be on their database and would reflect badly on them.
