Very pleased with the service. They delivered as advertised when others dropped the ball.
We unfortunately went with another company, got dragged out for days then never recieved a code. Gsmliberty did what they said they would do and in the time frame they stated. I would recommend them to even my mother!

Satisfied
My first encounter with gsmliberty was when i was going to unlock Iphone 5 that was locked to Softbank Japan and when i checked on their site, the result showed me they can unlock but unfortunately when i placed my order they failed to unlock and i never got an substantial reason why they failed. Though they gave me an assurance that they will refund my money which they did and that only softened my fear since i thought they were scamers.
So i placed my order on Monday 29 April, 2013 for another unlock which i have received today and now am using it right now.

NOT a scam, service was okay
I just used gmsliberty to unlock my iphone for from Rogers (Canada). It worked like a charm! My only complaint is that it took over a week for me to receive my ready notification, there were a couple time where I felt lost in the dark. However, towards the end of my waiting period the staff became very communicative which lightened my fears and I am happy to say I am now using my Canada iphone in India! :). Thank you very much guys.

Great service. Good tech support. Recommended!
I requested and paid for an unlock code for my Samsung Galaxy S2 which was locked to O2 UK network. I received the code and entered it as per the instruction on their website. It didn't work at first but I contacted them through their online tech support chat and their agent told me that some operators "freeze" the phone to make it even more difficult to unlock. He then gave me an "un-freeze" code which I entered first. Then when I entered the unlock code and SUCCESS! I can't compliment their service enough. They even give you the opportunity to get your money back if you post a video of the unlocking procedure to YouTube. The only criticism that I would make id that they are not a 24hr operation. They work 10am to 5pm EST. As I'm in yhr Philippines (+12 hrs) I had to wait overnight for codes

Very quick and very good!
I sent a request to Gsmliberty, and about 10 to 15 minutes later I received the email with the codes. Then I looked at YouTube a Video, how to handle with it. And then the phone was free for other SIM-Cards! Thanks!

Excellent product and service!
Was a little skeptical at first because I had bad experiences with other websites in the past, but after speaking with a customer service rep they assured me that it was 100% risk free process and was covered under their warranty so I went ahead and took the plunge. It took a while for them to be able to unlock it, but they kept in touch with me all the time providing updates through all the process. Very reliable and trustworthy service, I´m sure to recommend in the future.

Fast, reliable and very satisfactory service!
We were given the run-around by "the local guys" who supposedly offered the service and tried a cheap online service who, after 48 hours informed me that they were unable to get a code. GSM Liberty did the trick! Within minutes of placing our order i had the code and unlocked the phone! Great service-wouldn't go anywhere else!

dont bother trying anyone else Gsmliberty is the best
this was the easiest unlock i have ever had to do after the local phone shops said they couldnt do my s3 i tried these and after paying £10.56 out of my paypal account(made it even better lol)the process begun and within 1 hour i had my unlock code and full instructions as to how to input it
all i can say is excellent service and i will def be using them again AAAA++++

The moment u visit there site your greeted with a friendly hello from little balloon that helps u and tells u what to do 'Balloon = sales guy/girl.:P' and they help u set up and search for your exact phone, Once u paid through there means of payment unfortunately they don't accept virtual visa debit card payments through Rbc. but they do accept visa credit cards with rbc. I received my code ..Great job..Once i did the factory reset on my phone i had to re input the code again and it worked on my samsung galaxy gio gt-s5660m. Great service and highly recommended

You get what it says on the tin!!
It took about a day to get the code when the site said 40 minutes to a couple of hours but when I chased them - they were helpful and escalated the problem and resolved it promptly. The only thing that I found a problem was that they sent through 2 x 8 digit codes with a space inbetween them which didn't work and when I contacted them again - you only put in one of the 8 digit codes so it would have helped to have instructions come through with the code and it all to be a bit clearer. After putting it in correctly all has worked well and the phone unlocked so very pleased in all.

Super pleased! They saved me $30 from getting my phone unlocked at the kiosks
I was nervous that it wouldn't work but it did and the code came within 5-10 minutes really closer to less than 5! And my phones alright the network is a little week but nothing a little trouble shooting cant fix! Trust its legit :)

Good but slow to get code
I can only give 3 stars... code works but site said it would take 11hrs to get the code... 18hrs later it arrived. Contacted them after 12hrs about the lack of code... got told to wait... my old zx81 could have gotten the code in 12hrs. :-(
Personally I don't believe the people who said they got their codes in minutes... but this is the 1st time I've used them.

Unlock Heaven.
These people truly make the name of the company shine. They liberated me from Virgin in Canada. In less than an hour I had my Liberty. I never give five stars because i don't think perfection exists. I would give it a 4.5, if I could. Christian.

Unlocked my iPhone without too much hassle
A slight delay bc I entered in the wrong IMEI but it worked out in a day or two. Now I have an world iPhone for 29.99!

Unbelieveble
I was a little wary as it was my first attempt at unlocking a mobile phone. My fears were totally unfounded, the code was received in about 15/20 minutes and it worked first time. The service was first class, I would have no problem recommending them to anyone. Many Thanks.

J'ai reussi mon débloquage avec le code reçu de Gsmliberty et cela très étonnant, alors que les autres sites demandaient des prix éxhorbitants pour cela, Gsmliberty l'a fait pour presque rien.Mon Galaxy S2 fonctionne très bien.je récommande Gsmliberty à tous ceux qui ont besoin d'un desimlocage.les délais sont respectés, j'ai placer ma commande aujourd'hui à 12H00 et j'ai reçu mon code à19H14.

What a great service
After dealing with phone unlocking companies supplying useless codes, it was great to find a reliable service: the code for my Motorola Defy was delivered within the estimated time and it took less than a minute to unlock - what more could you ask for? I will definitely inform my customers of this service.

My doubts are gone
I wished to take an older Samsung A411 I had purchased for use in Australia to be set up for use in the U.K. It should be cheaper than buying a new GSM enabled smartphone which I may lose or not use at all. Finding GSMliberty online, I decided to risk a few dollars trying out their download code instead of paying for a local de-locking service. When I got their "processing" reply, but no code for about 15 hours instead of their posted time estimate, I began to doubt if this was a valid service. Then....voila!...an email with the code came through. I printed the instructions and logged on to the FAQ section before trying the de-locking. While I did not find the specific instruction for this model, I looked for the sets that had most steps in common, thinking that this was a simple phone and would use the most common instruction. Removed the Telstra SIM card, powered up, and entered the precursor number, the code supplied by Gsmliberty....and there was the "network unlocked" message on the screen. So...thank you Gsmliberty. Of course I won't get to verify if the phone works until I get to a country where I can buy a SIM card for a local service provider.

GSMliberty - excellent service
Late night doing IT work, also trying to find time to repair my broken Blackberry using another donated phone, had the "locked in" issue and went onto GSMLiberty site to get MEP unlock code. Low cost, no point trying to do it for free, these guys generate the code and email it back within minutes for very little cost.
The unlock code didn't work, however the online support guy was brilliant, got me to go into some Blackberry engineering mode (having checked all the basic stuff) we extracted key info about previous service provider and he generated another replacement code which worked.
Main point was, the service was cost effective, and the online support guy still spent the best part of an hour helping me with this issue at no cost.
Their website did put emphasis on "don't struggle if it doesn't work - speak to us". That, combined with good reviews, made me choose them.

Submitted my order 5pm one afternoon, got the unlock code sent to me the next day and had unlocked my Motorola Defy 2 minutes later. Code worked perfectly!
Price was £10 less than my local shop quoted and I was kept fully informed via email as to the progress of my order.
Totally pain-free unlocking experience and would happily recommend GSM Liberty to anyone.

Great first time unlock experiance
I was directed to this site by a link on koodo's website. I was woried about spending money online for an unlock code for my samsung gio phone, as I have never done this before. I placed my order and the site said it would be 12 to 24 min until I would recive my code. It actuly took about an hour and a half to 2 hours but I did recive my code and when entered into the phone it worked perfectly. I am very happy with the service. I had got nervous when I didn't recive my code rite away but my worrys were un-warented, and realy 2 hours is not a big deal to wait. Loved how well it worked and how polite there online rep was when I brought up my concern. All in all this was a great experiance and I will be using this site again in the future. Thank You

RIP-OFF's
I typo'd my IMEI and their software told me that the IMEI was invalid - try again. They never did send an email but rather sent me a unlock code in the IM chat window. It was supposedly based on my "invalid" IMEI. When I corrected them and gave them the right IMEI they refused to give me the right unlock code.
